Course Map

So no donations today, but I'm working on it! I found the full course map for the BMO Bank of Montreal Vancouver Marathon (the one I'm training for). Just in case you wanted to know what the route I'm running is, click on the image below!

The full marathon is a whopping 42km!!!!

The kickoff is this Wednesday! I can't wait to meet fellow runners :)

My Second And Third Donor

Yes Yes, I used to play an MMORPG. Although I no longer play, I've met some of the coolest people in quite a while. Just to prove how cool one certain one is, Mr. Sean McGettrick is my SECOND DONOR on the site! "Sen" as we call him in-game, actually came to visit me in Vancouver a couple months back! I did take him to the infamous Guu on Robson where he tried some gooey jellyfish :). Thank you Sean!

In addition, my wonderful boyfriend, Viet Vu just sponsored me! He often says I say something but don't follow through with it. So this time, I told him I'd do and I did!

My First Donor!

It's 1:37 am, I'm not generally up this late, but hey, I've been at a Sales Seminar all day downtown and it's got me pumped into believing that I can sell myself well enough to raise $2500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. So here I am making my logo for my first real blog since....well....ever!

Then my friend from elementary school, Justin Lam messages me on MSN. "how come I'm anonymous???" That really confused me, until he added, "I'm the first to sponsor." What?! A sponsor already?!?!? But I just set everything up yesterday! So there we have it folks, my first $20!

Justin has been a longtime friend of mine and he will also be training for an event of his own, The Ride to Conquer Cancer, which will be happening sometime next year. Justin will be biking from Vancouver to Seattle! Much more of a challenge than mine. Here's Justin's link.

I just updated my banner today, took me over an hour to figure out how to do it! I'm sad. But hey, I try!
